Security & iOS compatibility

Post by stargehzer » Fri Aug 04, 2017 7:54 pm

I've been using MS Word 2010 & saving a password protected file in .docx format.
I can email it to myself & on my iPhone I can enter the password & the document opens as it should.
I can email it to friends who use MS Word & as long as they have the password they have full access.

FreeOffice TextMaker doesn't save in .docx format.
Is there a format that TextMaker will save in that will give me equal or better security, plus be openable using my iPhone or MS Word?

TextMaker in SoftMaker Office can save your file in .docx file format but not TextMaker in FreeOffice. If you need the docx export, purchase a license of SoftMaker Office Standard or Professional.
