My search function (button as well as ctrl-F) doesn't work

Post by mark1davis » Fri Nov 04, 2016 12:39 am

I'm using Textmaker in FreeOffice 2016. The search function always returns "search item not found," even when I am searching a document that has only 1 word in it. It doesn't matter whether or not the target word is highlighted.

Please help.

It depends where the cursor is. By deafult the search starts from the cursor position.

Solution in your case:
Either set the cursor in front of the word (at the beginning of the document) or enable the option "Search from top".
