Fully Justified Text Words Split with Hyphen

Post by cpcnw » Sat Feb 25, 2017 11:59 am

FreeOffice TextMaker rev 763.1202

Just tried the full justification and notice that in some circumstances a few longer words are split over onto the next line with a hyphen splitting up the word.

If I put my cursor to the left of the split word and press shift enter, this joins it back together and moves it to the line below. However the line above does not then meet the right hand margin, as though the line of text is actually left aligned.

Some people think that the way Word stretches out the spaces between words to achieve full justification is pretty ugly, but I am used to it.

Is there a way to achieve the same thing in TextMaker?

Have you disabled the hyphenation for all the text in Format=>Paragraph=>Text Flow? If yes, could you please send us the file to forum(at)softmaker.de? Thank you!
