Updating FreeOffice

Post by Edyap » Tue Apr 19, 2016 10:48 am

I want to update my version (702) to the latest. In the Help > Check for Updates menu, I choose Download the Update, but I don't see any activity, any downloading, or any updating going on. I don't see any new file in my download folder.

Do I have to uninstall the old version and download the new version? If I do, can I use my old registration keys?

Thank you for your reply and for your software.

Thank you very much. I'm hoping this new version will correct an incompatibility with Adobe InDesign. When a text file created in TextMaker is placed in InDesign, all line spacing is gone, and all lines overlap in one line. Also, when text contains bullets or numbering, InDesign crashes when trying to import a file. Other than these, I'm happy with FreeOffice and recommend it to friends.
