Style keystroke assignments not remembered

Post by lawrencegoodman000 » Wed Apr 05, 2017 5:51 pm

If I create a new style and assign it a shortcut, the shortcut has disappeared the next time I open the program.

Thanks.

I'm using Rev 765.0305

This is best stored in .tmd files. Microsoft Word's handling of keyboard shortcuts is wildly different, that's why we cannot save them in DOC format at all. In DOCX format, we store them in a way that they can be retrieved by TextMaker, but Word ignores them.

Yup, that works. How about if I save it as rtf? WIll that stick?
The problem with tmd is I can't open it on my iPad.

Thanks.

Same problem with RTF because that's another Microsoft format. We can't do anything about it, since TextMaker is more capable here than Microsoft Word.
