There are some "functional" package managers and distributions (Nix/NixOS is quite popular now). SoftMaker Office doesn't work in these environments. Any chance of support for functional distributions in the future?

Why doesn't it work? The .tgz package (for other systems) should work in any linux environment that has the dependencies installed (although figuring out missing dependencies can be difficult).
