Idea for Basic Maker macros

Post by Freddie » Fri Feb 03, 2017 9:18 pm

There has been quite a lot of dialogue, including for SO 2012 and, I believe on the German support site, about using BasicMaker macros for practical purposes.

How about constructing a simple dBase database, that can be opened in TextMaker, containing all known, error free macros, together with a title, description and a 'notes' section where users could add their own comments.

Once lightly populated, it could be made available to users via this forum (only a simple text file after all) and users, in turn, could submit their own macros for inclusion in later versions - it could be updated perhaps bi-monthly or quarterly.

Given the potential for BasicMaker, it would be a shame not to exploit it and share ideas in this way. Any suggestions? :)

I will refer your suggestion to the product management. Thank you!
