You have some macro workbooks in the folder ...\UserName\Documents\SoftMaker Office 2016\Macro Files

Make a search in PlanMaker's help file with the word "Basic". It will give You some basic necessary information.

Ask questions here :D

Hi Dennis
Well that's what I thought, I have memories of things supposed to be there, but there is nothing I can find.
Can you give me a couple of filenames to search for please. I'll see if I can find the area that way....

It's all very strange.

Hi Dennis (and watchers)

I just could not understand where this folder system was or should I say was not.....

I booted up a laptop and on that there are some samples roughly where you said they would be. (Actually under a folder called Samples)

But here on the main computer nowhere to be seen. So armed with a few of the sample names from the laptop I have found them.

For whatever reason, not known to me, I found them housed on a different drive. Mystery of the files sorted. Mystery of the what the blazes were they doing on the S drive unknown....

We should put a sticky item on the board entitled Macros. People could post useful macros there.
Simple or complex, like a macro to turn on or off line numbering with a set of parameters, a find and replace macro, as examples of simple ones.
Just an idea.

Has anyone created a successful macro that is more complex than "Hello World"? The examples in the Samples folder are too trivial to be useful.
Support for importing vba has been promised since at least 2009! It's still a pipedream.

Have a look in German BasicMaker forum:
http://forum.softmaker.de/viewforum.php?f=233

A good example is a macro that lets you convert all your .tmd files in a given folder (and it's sub folders) into .doc files:

In My Documents\SoftMaker\Samples, there are several sample scripts.
