"Out of memory"

I am really not happy. I spent a couple of hours updating a rather large spreadsheet whereupon I got an "Out of Memory" error and could not save my work. PlanMaker 2016 for Windows rev 768.1215.

I've had other Out of Memory errors in the past few days also but didn't lose as much work. This is unacceptable. Excel may be a lot pricier, but at least I don't lose my data.

We are sorry that this happened to you. Have you deactivated the autosave function in Tools=>Options=>Files? If not, the autosave should save every x minutes and offer to restore the file after a re-start of PlanMaker.
If the problem ever happens again, we would suggest to try to save with other file formats like pmd, pmdx, xls or xlsx. It is possible that you still can save the file if you use another file format, which needs less memory.
