A few questions about using FreeOffice on windows 7

Post by TheCynicsClub » Sun Aug 11, 2019 8:38 pm

Hello all,

I wanted to download and try FreeOffice (if it's really free) for use with windows 7 x 64. I'm concerned about two things: Will it cripple or Take Over my word pad ? Wordpad is quite useful for doing simple things. Saving or composing short paragraphs or making address lables etc. and I'd like it left alone

Second: If I don't care for FreeOffice, is it easy to uninstall ? I had an awful time getting rid Apache Open Office and there is Still something stuck in the registry. When somebody makes software that doesn't totally uninstall, it seems like sloppyware instead of software.

Last: Would you do me a favor ? I'll need a link to it's usage instructions. Thanks for your time ........ Alan :?

Hi,
1. Wordpad won't be affected
2. Yes, it does a clean uninstall.
3. FreeOffice includes a PDF user manual for each application in its help menu.
