Are there plans to port SMO to UWP? Microsoft clearly wants everyone to do this, and claims it's easy. For those who end up with Windows 10S it would be good to have a fully functional alternative to Office 365, but I'm thinking too the one attraction of W10S is the promise that managing apps via the Windows Store will not mess up your registry. On the other hand I'm wondering if the whole thing's a way for Microsoft to grab a percentage of the sales price of every bit of software running on its platform, which seems worth resisting, but I don't know enough about how the commercial side of how it would work. Beyond this I guess I'm just beginning to wonder when the next version might be coming along ...
