TEXTMAKER doesn't support .bas???

Post by promytius » Sat May 06, 2017 1:05 pm

Will you be fixingthis? You sold the upgrade based on its enhanced capabilities - why doesn't your TEXT/DOC editor accept the file format that BasicMaker uses to save its docs by default?? That's hard to process logically - your text editor saves programs to a default file format your document editor DOES NOT RECOGNIZE!

HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Thanks!

TextMaker opens .bas files as text files (invoke File=>Open and select the .bas file of your choice). Now you can edit it and save it.

However, I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish. The BasicMaker editor is better suited for editing .bas files than TextMaker. And running Basic script happens via BasicMaker and not from TextMaker.
