The reason it's disabled is because FreePDF is a limited version of FlexiPDF.

After some attempts, I was able to reproduce the issue and reported it to the developers.

Do I get this right that, when you are writing on at the end of the paragraph, hyphenation in the lines before changes?

Language set to English (United States). The word breaks in the right place, when it does; so the problem is not faulty hyphenation. It just seems that the program cannot make its mind up as to whether the word should be broken or not, and each keystroke afterwards in the same paragraph ...
