MegaFont XXL 2.0 was released this year, not many years ago.

But truth is, we put so much energy into completing TextMaker and PlanMaker for Pocket PCs that we didn't even time to plan for a Carnival sale... :D

SO, IN CONCLUSION WILL BE OR NOT A VERSION OF TEXTMAKER FOR PALM OS? We killed the project when it became clear that Palm OS 5 was not able to handle an ARMlet version of TextMaker due to code size, OS limitations and compiler limitations and that Palm OS 6 would never make it onto shipping devices...

As soon as PlanMaker 2006 is done, there will be SoftMaker Office 2006, and this will be available at academic pricing as well.

I am aware of the STIX fonts project.

I don't think our current equation editor is a long-term solution for us, but we have so many subprojects re: SoftMaker Office on the table that it will be some time before we can think about a new equation editor.

Creating an English translation of our Equation Editor is still on the to-do list but be forewarned that this is a Windows-only program (licensed from the same company that did the equation editor for Microsoft Word).

We'll have better e-mail integration in the future but it is too soon to talk about this in detail.
