This function existed in FreeOffice 2016 but was removed in FreeOffice 2018. Please consider that this is a free software. It is up to the provider to decide which features they will offer free of charge. If you want to use the full feature set, you will have to choose the paid version.

If you work with ribbons, you will find the A-Z icon for "Sort text/table" in the "Home" ribbon, section "Paragraph". It will be greyed out until you have selected the whole text or part of it with the mouse for sorting.

Are you working with classic menus or with ribbons?

On my computer, FlexiPDF 2019 and 2022 coexist peacefully, no problems so far.

Re search and replace: Go to Edit > Replace... In the dialog box, click Special > Paragraph mark twice for the search field and once for the Replace field. Click "Replace all" and there you are. I think this is easier than using an additional text editor.

Right-click the picture, choose "Picture: Properties...", tab "Picture", and there "Color" and "Tolerance" in the section "Transparency".

In text box properties, tab “Inner text", there is the option "Rotate by". 90° or 270° will do the trick.

Unfortunately, TextMaker still does not support advanced OpenType features. This has been my foremost request for years.

I don't know the MS Word feature, but TextMaker has TextArt (Object > New drawing > TextArt... with classic menus, Insert > TextArt object with ribbons).

If TextMaker would support OpenType features, this shouldn't be a problem. I've been waiting a long time now for OTF support, but since the introduction of kerning in 2008 TextMaker is seriously lagging behind in typographical features.

FreeOffice doesn‘t have this feature. This leaves you with the option to copy the "settings" folder.

Could it be that you are still using SoftMaker Office 2018? The "Manage" feature was introduced with SMO 2021. Or is it FreeOffice?

when you go to Tools > Options, there is a button „Manage...“ in the lower left corner of the dialog box. It allows to export your settings and to import them into another instance of SoftMaker Office. W10 or W11 doesn't make a difference, as these are internal settings of SMO.

Well, I can only say that FlexiPDF works here flawlessly on a Mac with Parallels Desktop, and always has, including typing text in text boxes.

In FlexiPDF itself there is no such option. You may select the picture frame, right-click, choose "Image" from the context menu and then "Edit..." or "Edit with..." from the submenu to open the picture in a graphics program of your choice to make it transparent. As a qu...
