If you save a document with an empty page contaning only the text frame you should be able open it later and copy and paste the text frame into other documents. When you copy and paste a text frame, both documents must be in Object mode.

Crimson is published under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which explicitly allows use for commercial purposes (see here). But if you prefer a font from Megafont, I recommend one of the Garamond variations there.

Which font named "Crimson“ are you talking about? If it is Crimson by Sebastian Kosch: This is a free font and downloadable here. No need to search for a replacement font.

The attached document looks to me like an HTML email with an embedded Word document. Microsoft Word seems to have an import filter for this kind of docs, TextMaker hasn't. You might try to use "Paste special" (Alt+Shift+V) instead of "Paste" and choose "Unformatted text" there. This corresponds to "Keep text only" in Word and should avoid formatting conflicts.
