I have just installed the latest beta of the Office NX beta (released yesterday) and can confirm the issue has been resolved. Opening Excel, Ppt and Word documents did show the correct top hand corner icon per application. Closed, thanks to the devs!

Obviously, since I added them myself. I won't run KDE X11 anymore, we are not in 2018. Strange anyway since the FreeOffice icons work under Wayland. So, something has changed in the making' of the icons.

Installation on Slackware Current went fine; installed in KDE Plasma 6.4.5 Wayland. The application icons are not copied correctly to the menu. This was already an issue with Softmaker Office 2024. At the time I selected the FreeOffice icons to have some visual feedback. See attached screenshot ...
