window size too large/can't be resized

All of the FreeOffice applications open in wide windows that take up most of my monitor, and they can't be horizontally resized below that (vertical resizing works as expected). Not the end of the world, but I'm wondering if this is expected behavior? I'm using fluxbox. Could it be the window manage...
