Installed it on a fresh windows system and it worked fine. Must have been something it didn't like with my setup as I had the same error with the current installer.

I also get this error when I try to install the non-beta version as well. It's probably my system that is at fault so I will do some more checking.

I have a number of books which have a gradient transparency on one edge of the each page. When I use other readers (Foxit, Adobe etc) it renders correctly:

I use styles exclusively in TextMaker. Nothing is ever formatted "manually", I will always create or use an existing style.

I must admit I was very surprised that multiple pdfs didn't open in tabs in the same instance. That almost seems like a standard feature in all the other readers/editors that I've tried.

There seems to be a lot of styles and it would be nice to be able to just get rid of a lot of them.

If I want "HTML Code" style then I'm quite capable of creating one.

Basically if deleting a style doesn't cause something else to break I should be able to delete it.

It's not a major problem, more of an annoyance. One of the things that drew me to Softmaker is that it has much better styles handling than the market leader It just needs a couple of tweaks to be perfect for my purposes.
