Open Finder, highlight file, right click, select Get Info, Open with: PlanMaker Free 2021, select "Change All...". Select "Yes" to change all files. Do this will all Office files (docx, pptx).

opening files saved in MS file format default to Numbers instead of FreeOffice
Since installing the rev F1040.1124 update, my MS Office file formats open in Numbers instead of FreeOffice.
