Thank you for describing this so clearly. After F4, the converted reference remains selected, so the next character you type replaces it. Until this changes, pressing End after F4 moves the cursor to the end of the formula, and you can continue typing from there.

TextMaker stores the view mode in the document itself. A file last saved in Continuous view will reopen in Continuous view, regardless of the settings in Normal.tmvx. This depends on the file, not on the program defaults.

The presentation contains 49 slides and is about 24 MB, so copying slides and saving take noticeable time even here. The delay is considerably longer when the file is stored in OneDrive, because every save and every autosave is also synchronised to the cloud.

The template and file-version folders do not control the main SoftMaker user-data folder. SoftMaker creates that folder under the Windows Documents known folder, which on your system currently appears to be D:\Documents.
