1. Right-click in the table > go to Properties > Table > Layout tab > change Wrapping from "Surrounding" to "None".

2. Save the file as DOCX (not DOC).

This should solve the problem and ...

Re: Font Colour in Tab Names

We attempted to change the font colors multiple times, but the color always inverted (black/white).

We couldn't replicate the colors in your screenshot. Please provide the exact steps you use to change the color.

Re: SmartText compatibility between TextMaker, PlanMaker, and Presentations

Thank you for posting your concern.

Yes, it is not automatically synchronized. We have forwarded this as an improvement suggestion.

Meanwhile, you can manually copy tmsmart.dat from Documents/SoftMaker/Settings and paste it in same folder as pmsmart.dat and prsmart.dat.

Re: Shapes as Pictures

Thank you for posting your query.

This functionality is not currently possible in SoftMaker Office. However, I have forwarded your suggestion as an improvement suggestion.

In the meantime, as an alternative, you can use any third-party snipping tool to achieve a similar result.
