Thank you for reporting this problem. I can reproduce it and have forwarded the details further.
This is happening with the dark interface only. As a workaround, please switch to the light interface and then reload the document.

Re: Markdown support
Thanks for the post. Could you describe what happens when you paste markdown — does the formatting get lost, or do you see something unexpected?
Please also attach the markdown file you're working with and the exact steps to reproduce the problem.

Re: Shift-Tab Not Working
Thank you for your report. Could you please let us know where exactly you are pressing Shift+Tab — for example, inside a table, in a bulleted/numbered list, or in regular body text? The expected behavior differs depending on the context:
In a table: Tab moves to the next cell, and Shift+Tab ...

Re: Texmaker not responding
Thank you for sharing the file. I was unable to reproduce the lagging issue — the file opens and runs without any slowness on my end.
Regarding the tables you mentioned: these are actually EMF images, which are not supported on macOS. However, even their presence did not cause any slowdown here ...

Re: ODF
Even after setting the author details, the issue is still the same. Could you please share a screen recording so we can investigate further?
If it turns out this is a limitation of the file format itself, unfortunately, there may not be much we can do in that case.

Re: Print preview discrepancy
Thank you for sharing the sample file. I was able to reproduce the issue and have forwarded it to our development team.
In the meantime, as a workaround: switching to a different printer corrects the Print Preview. You can then switch back to your preferred printer before printing.
