This is rather curious. I can't reproduce the problem (in Linux). Because of what you describe it can not be a font-cache thing. So here are a dew ideas:

1. Move/rename the SoftMaker folder in order to reset your config. Let's rule out a config problem.

This seems to me to be a bug. As Woody44 states it can not be reproduced in 2024. I would suggest you provide a step-by-step of how you reproduce the bug and a file with dummy text were the bug happens in TM2026/NX. I bet that would be helpful for the SMO team.

Since TextMaker 2026 can import and export Markdown, I guess you could use it for note taking, then import to export, or simply copy/paste into one-note or whatever... Honestly, I think taking notes by hand is more practical.

The problem still remains

Some of the validation issues, regarding comments and tracking were fixed, possibly in the latest service pack. This have improved interoperability and it is appreciated. The mimetype error remains as well as the tag name dc error.

Most likely this inconsistency is related to two of my previous reports: this one about comments losing formatting in ODT and this one ODT syntax is invalid . . Something to keep in mind, just as well the fact both issues remain unresolved after a few months.
