CTRL+fullstop faulty
Since the last service pack keyboard shortcut does not work properly. I have a cell formatted as YYYY-MM-DD, but when I use CTRL+fullstop to fill in the date I get YY-MM-DD. In other words, instead of getting 2022-05-20 I get 22-05-20. I have tested this on an existing sheet and on a completely new ...

Re: Spreadsheet editing slow
Never mind. FWIW for any user who comes across this thread, I have found a workaround. I transferred the 5000 oldest lines to another worksheet in the same workbook, so the active sheet does not have the time lag anymore. I will keep transferring as and when the active sheet gets too long again. I h...

Re: Spreadsheet editing slow
@stascheit: automatic recalculation is disabled, but even then, when I enter data in a cell there is a distinct time lag before the cell is filled. Equally, there is that time lag when is just move from 1 cell to the next. It is annoying. I also find that surprising too considering a spreadsheet has...

Re: Pivot table cell formatting not preserved
@Supertech: holy smoke, this is awesome!!! Yes, it works! Yay! thank you so much. But there is one thing I don't understand: in Pivot table Settings , tab Layout , there is an option Preserve cell formatting . What does this option do? In the manual, it only states this about it: Preserve cell forma...

Re: Pivot table cell formatting not preserved
@Stascheit thanks for your reply. 2 days ago I sent a test file to forum[at]softmaker.de.
I hope they received it and will deal with it. It has been outstanding for a long time; in fact, even Excel seemed to have had (or still has) this same problem.

Spreadsheet editing slow
I have a spreadsheet with about 7500 lines formatted as a table. When I add new data or modify existing data it takes a couple of seconds before the change is rendered.
Is there any way to speed that up?

Re: Pivot table cell formatting not preserved
I am sorry, but I cannot send the file for privacy reasons. This is an old issue, I am sure you guys are aware of it and know what is causing the problem, but you have your reasons not to address it, apparently it is the same with Microsoft's Excel. OK, that a pity but such is life, so I will have t...

Re: Pivot table cell formatting not preserved
This is the exact same reply I got 3 years ago, and nothing was done about it. I am quite sure you guys are aware of the problem, you probably have dozens of files from people who reported this. Planmaker is a good piece of software, very useful, but I am dismayed at the fact that an issue that was ...

Pivot table cell formatting not preserved
I have checked the box for this setting, but each time I refresh a pivot table the formatting is lost. As you can see, I am on a Mac, but in 2019 I had the same issue in the Linux version https://forum.softmaker.com/viewtopic.php?t=18330 . So, it seems this issue has not been addressed in the past 3...

Re: Expand tables automatically - Linux
The problem has been solved and should no longer occur with the next service pack. Thanks very much Sven, that is a big improvement. Although I don't know if the problem occurred in the Windows and Mac versions too, may I assume that if it did it has been solved for those too? I intend to use the s...

Re: Cut/Copy/Paste does not copy formatting...
No, I am not. This is stock Linux Mint Cinnamon latest update, with only a couple of programs downloaded such as LibreOffice and SoftMaker. I don't know if it matters, however the files I'm editing are .xlsx files from Microsoft Office 2010. They are on my Windows 10 partition of a dual boot system...
