Wrap for long hyperlinks

Please, add a "dumb" wrapping for long hyperlinks. Step 1. Set language of the Normal character style to "No language". (Personally, I use "No language" because all of my documents have a mix of several languages.) Set its font to Arial 14. Step 2. Insert some long hyperlink after the asterisk or so...

Bug: Disappearing windows after minimize

Tested on free version, SoftMaker FreeOffice 2016 rev. 763.1202, on Windows 7. To reproduce: 1. Start TextMaker (or PlanMaker, doesn't make a difference). 2. Minimize a document window: smbug1.PNG 3. Then click to maximize or restore it: smbug2.PNG 4. Repeat step 2. Result: the window is missing: sm...

Re: Rrepeat bookmarked text, using cross-reference

Insert the words from the clipboard (Ctrl+V), select them and invoke Format > Link... . In the dialogue box, you will find "The_place_I_want_to_go" under the heading "Bookmark". Select it, click OK – there you are. Yeah, thanks. The problem is that such "cross-references" will not be automatically ...

Clickable images

In TextMaker, I can assign hyperlinks to images. For example, I can insert some image, then click on it, and then click Menu > Object > Properties. The "Object Properties" appeared. Then I can click button "Select" near the "Link" field, and select option "File" in window "Hyperlink". clickable.PNG ...

Repeat bookmarked text, using cross-reference

Is there a way to repeat specific text as cross-reference? This is possible in Word and Libre/OpenOffice, but currently I can't find this feature in TextMaker. Example: Step 1. Select some text and assign it a bookmark. OK, this is possible in TextMaker, nothing hard. Step 2. Create a cross-referenc...

Insert fields manually

In Word, there is a shortcut Ctrl-F9, which allows to manually write fields. I.e. when I press Ctrl-F9, there appears 2 curly brakcets and I can manually type the field content between them. Is there such option in TextMaker? I see, F9 (Update fields) and Alt-F9 (Turn field codes on/off) works, but ...

Re: Text variables for fiction book

Thanks, Martin, it works.

But maybe you know why my attempts to include values from database failed?

And also, is there an option to rename existing variable? I.e. I want to change DETECTIVE to DETECTIVENAME

Text variables for fiction book

Is there a way to use text variables? For example, I write fiction book about famous detective, and I want to use variables for my fictional characters and locations. If I enable "Display field names" (File > Properties > Display field names), the text should look like this: ... When {DETECTIVE} arr...
