Re: using the search box or Ctrl + F

Thank you - I am pleased to see the responsiveness when little issues are mentioned, that's excellent. In the case of the dialog box - a second and related request. If you work on multiple spreadsheets moving across different tabs, the constant blocking search box can be annoying. Often it's the sam...

Re: vlookup data entry box

thank you for your help but I am sorry, I watched this clip dozens of time but cannot replicate it. I can copy my original formula across from Excel and it works fine: =VLOOKUP(G2,'VL Inventory'!A:T,20,0) However, when entering it manually using your process I may get the expected #n/a in my sheet b...

Re: vlookup data entry box

stascheit - you are right. I have now managed to get this "saved". I still do not understand why if I then enter the formula into the Formula box, I need to know all the info by heart. I do know (and can see) which is the Crit and remember n and O but the range is not on the same sheet and...

Re: vlookup data entry box

Supertech, thank you - one follow up - is there any reason why vlookup does not show up as my last used function. No matter how often I use it,
under last used I only have Sum and Count (don't know if I ever used count) but vloolup is "hiding" under All Functions at the bottom.

vlookup data entry box

I am using vlookup and miss the data entry box that would guide me through the fields in excel. I can manually type in the formula by opening excel, trying to refresh my memory about the correct syntax and then do this in planmaker. Is there a setting I can enable to get such a box that puts the com...

using the search box or Ctrl + F

Having only recently moved to softmaker, I am still finding some features working differently from what I was used to. I don't know if this is due to the implementation in the software or my approach. When using the search function in a spreadsheet I can find the cell or value I am looking for. Howe...

Re: A couple of simple questions

With respect to the deletion of rows below or to the right of the active part, I think the op refers to a function in excel that may or may not work in planmaker. I only recently started using planmaker, so I am a newbie here: In excel if I have a large spreadsheet and want to go to the end of the s...

Ctrl + V is fine and I use it often but sometimes just hitting enter is simple

using Filter with drop down

I have a large spreadsheet which has grown over time and I often use the filter to drill down on information I need, e.g. see records of a certain type. I just noticed that in softmaker using the drop down arrow I have some criteria appearing twice. I carefully looked at these to see if I may have m...

Re: setting print area and/or amending

Thank you Stascheit - it's a bit clumsy but I can make it work.

Is there any comparison as to which features are available in paid compared to free? I had a look on the site and found some overall
info but something specific like this was not mentioned.

setting print area and/or amending

I am having some issues with the process of printing the correct area in a spreadsheet. I have a file and the print-area has the bulk on page 1 with one column on page 2. I found a setting for Define Print Area but this does not change the print-outcome. Clicking on print preview it appears my setti...

Re: Bak file

Supertech, thank you and I have read this carefully now. I am still a bit unclear as to the difference between clicking the save button in the ribbon while working on a document, relying on the setting Auto Recovery : save state every X minutes and the bak file? It seems to me that in the paid versi...

Copy and paste using the enter key

I noticed that in order to paste something I actually need to click the past button or right-click paste. Is there any setting I can change to also
accept the enter button for pasting?
