Portfolio in demo mode

Is this a deliberately disabled feature in the demo version. Constant errors occurred when using FlexiPDF 2017 hence I uninstalled the program.

So it appears there is no way to create a portfolio without purchasing.

Is that correct or am I missing something obvious guys.

Re: Excel XIRR Function

A better fix - posting in case others are looking for a solution to the XIRR PlanMaker 'problem' Rather than deleting the empty cells and needing to do an insert cell row whenever an new entry is required. I've simply filled up the empty Date column with the =TODAY() function. The Amount column is f...

Re: Excel XIRR Function

Thank you - that's fixed it.

Hopefully the guys at Softmaker will allow it to ignore these in any future releases.

Re: Excel XIRR Function

I did check this a day or two ago. Further research my end and everything works fine in Excel and Libre Office Calc. Not fond of either of these as much prefer the UI of PlanMaker.

I'm attaching a ZIP copy of the basic XIRR file if anyone has a few minutes spare to cast their eyes over it.

Re: Excel XIRR Function

Thank you for your reply. I thought PlanMaker supported the XIRR function.

Obviously I must have the incorrect formula as the cell result is showing as #VALUE! rather than the correct percentage.

Excel XIRR Function

Tried search - nothing there so may not be available. Excel has the XIRR function to calculate the projected annual rate of return - positive or negative on investments made over the course of a 12 month period. The formula I'm looking at from Excel is - =+XIRR(B$11:B$1992,A$11:A$1992,0.1) where B i...

Re: Spreadsheet linking - auto update

Thanks for the feedback Sven. Your spreadsheet is different to mine as you are using tabs in the same spreadsheet and it certainly works. Unfortunately my spreadsheets need to be separate although they can both be open at the same time. The reference in your sample is ='Spreadsheet A'!A10 whereas in...

Re: Spreadsheet linking - auto update

An update - of sorts. I have the linking function working but a change in one spreadsheet say A does not update the reference in say spreadsheet B on the fly. It is necessary to save and close spreadsheet B, then reopen it when you are offered the option to update the external ink to spreadsheet A. ...

Spreadsheet linking - auto update

Apologies if the correct terminology for the subject is incorrect. Have looked at the user manual but unable to find if it is available. Need to link an update in one spreadsheet so it automatically updates in another open spreadsheet. For the sake of clarity - If I amend say cell A10 in spreadsheet...

Re: Planmaker slow since update

It was interesting. In case others may have the same problem the path is (in my case) - c:\users\your name\my documents\softmaker There were a few files from the old 2012 installation plus several old backup files. Something was causing the Planmaker slowdown although it didn't seem to affect Textma...

Re: Planmaker slow since update

Still no go - internet disconnected and AV (Avast) disabled. I no longer have a copy of the original release software as this was overwritten with the update. Planmaker is working fine with simple cell input - no links. The problem is with a couple of financial spreadsheets - not particularly large ...

Can confirm all options in the 'Edit' box are ticked. After input, move selection is 'down'
