minor stylistic problem

Post by hjmangalam » Wed Jan 06, 2010 6:48 pm

when backspacing, the cursor moves left and THEN the deleted character is deleted. This is opposite from all other text editing tools that I've used.

The correct sequence should be remove character, then move the cursor left. even I (a non-touchtyper) can see this effect.

The fact that i noticed it may be related to the overall speed of tracking text input, which is normally OK for me, but I've noticed several comments about it here.

Ok, thanks for the hint. Which Linux are you currently using?
