Welcome to the SoftMaker Presentations 2010 for Windows Beta

You can get the beta version of SoftMaker Office 2010 for Windows here: http://www.softmaker.com/english/ofw10betareg_en.htm

The purpose of this forum is to facilitate the exchange of information between SoftMaker and our beta testers. Please post all bug reports in this forum.

HOW TO REPORT BUGS

Please report bugs by posting in this forum. Create a new thread for every new topic. Reply to existing threads only to discuss those things that are already discussed in the existing thread.

Please write full bug reports with instructions how to REPRODUCE a bug. Ideally, it is like this:

1. Start SoftMaker Presentations
2. Insert some slides and delete the last slide
3. Start the presentation

-> error message "cannot start presentation"

Please include information about your system (Windows version, which Windows service pack, how much RAM) and any specific settings you have made.

If you need to include sample documents for us to inspect, please mail them to support@softmaker.de (put a link to your forum in the e-mail and include your pmconfig.ini file so that we can see your settings).

Not: Something like "Spell-check does not work" or "When I type something, SoftMaker Presentations crashes" is too unspecific to be helpful.

MAKE BACKUP COPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS

SoftMaker Presentations 2010 beta may still contain bugs which means you can lose documents or parts of them. We don't warrant that you won't lose work. If you are not willing to accept this, stop using the SoftMaker Presentations 2010 beta.

Please don't overwrite old SoftMaker Presentations 2008 or older documents that you still need with that version of SoftMaker Presentations. The file format is not backward-compatible. Instead, save under a different name to test SoftMaker Presentations 2010.

SUPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEMS

This beta supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 in 32 and 64 bit.
