How to make Table of Contents with hyperlinks?

Post by sebatbg » Thu Jan 14, 2010 6:57 pm

Hi there

I would like to know how could I make a table of contents with hyperlinks, that can get me to the right place of document?

For now I was doing something like this:

1:Create headers and then generate table of contents.
2:Make a bookmarks to the headers.
3:Highlight every row(header) in the TOC, and create a hyperlink to the right bookmark.

But with longer project it's a little...slow.

Is there a method to do it quicker and easier?

BTW:I found that in other office suits there are both footnote and endnote.
In TM I can find only option to create footnote...but where is endnote?

Best regards

Hello,

that's currently not possible to create a table of contents with hyperlinks. The only way is (like you did) to highlight the rows and create a hyperlink.

Has this been included yet? I have a Recipe File that I have been working on in Word and since I have a new computer without Word, I am using TextMaker. However, I can't make the Recipe Titles hyperlinked which is really unfortunate because it's a very very handy capability in a Recipe File that has 200+ recipes.

Thanks!

No, that is still on the agenda for the future.
