TextMaker throwing MS office warnings

Post by paul1149 » Thu Sep 27, 2012 5:20 pm

Hi,

Looks like I'm the only one posting here, but I'm interested in TM because I refurb netbooks and I'm looking for an inexpensive Office suite to deploy, and TM is very good.

One significant problem I'm having, though, is that any .doc file created by TM is throwing a MS Office Validation Tool warning about unsafe content. The docs I have tested don't contain any code. They're just straight text, with no markup at all.

This could be an impediment for people who have to send files to others that use MSO.

My questions: is there a way to resolve this, and does the latest version have the same problem?

Thanks.

This is an issue of TextMaker 2008 only because Microsoft later added its file validation tools to Microsoft Office. You should use TextMaker 2010, TextMaker 2012, or FreeOffice TextMaker to create files that Microsoft Word does not complain about.
