Textmaker 2004 - When?

Post by Kseise »

We are running out of 2004. Any idea when Texmaker will be updated? There are a few features I am dying to see such as multi level numbering and tighter integration with Word styles. Can't wait to see what's next!

OK, it is 2005, any news on the beta? I really hope it will include multilevel outlining.

We decided to add full Unicode support which cost us about 3 months. Beta this spring, multilevel numbering included.

In a previous posting, I mentioned being a beta tester because of my use of multi-level outlining. In your reply, you mentioned Unicode support. I am also well equipped to help with that. I've had to do work in ISO 8859-1, 8859-2, 8859-3, UTF-8 and UTF-16. If you are adding RTOL/LTOR (right to left/left to right) support, I can help with that as well. I can also test the non-latin sets such as Greek.

I agree concerning the need for outlining. MS Word finally got it right with Word2003. I can't wait until I have that on my PPC.
