A Text Maker Plugin for MS Word?

Would it be possible to create a plugin for the MS Word application that would allow MS Word users to read/write the tmd format?
I think this would be a great thing, it would allow us to use textmaker and not have to worry about formatting when our files are saved in word format.
Textmaker does an excellent job, but there is usually a tiny bit of tweaking necessary when I open a document using MS Word when it was saved in textmaker using the doc format.
If openoffice would also make a plugin for word I think that may help bridge the gap btween MS Word and its competitiors.

Save your Textmaker document as a Word file [.doc]. The more I use Textmaker, the more I try to stay away from Word!
