Planmaker segmentation fault

Post by waspz » Wed Jun 13, 2007 9:20 pm

Hi

my OS is Xubuntu 7.04 feisty fawn.
Using Planmaker 2006

I have a very large spreadsheet that was created in excel that every time I try to edit it in Planmaker I get a segmentation fault when I hit the enter key.

By systematically deleting sections of the spreadsheet I now have a spreadsheet that only has content in cell A1. If any changes are made I still get the seg fault when the enter key is hit.

Now if I select cell A1 and then remove the formatting via the menu item Edit/Delete Special/Formatting the seg fault problem disappears.

I've tried to get an strace output but don't know much about it but here's the last 30 lines or so of the output

The file would be interesting, too. Please send us the file (zipped) to forum(at)softmaker.de and refer to this thread via a link.
Additionally, please tell us how to edit the sheet to reproduce the crash.

Finally the bug was reproduceable for the developers. The next service pack will fix this issue.
