Crash on formulas

Post by francisco » Tue Jun 05, 2007 4:44 pm

PlanMaker 2006 for FreeBSD
Rev 316

I often have crashes when I insert a fomula into an existing spreadsheet.
A formula as simple as
=819.72/12

After some trial and error I think I found what causes the crash.
If the number getting divided has decimal, it crashes.
If I change the formula to =819/12 it works.

Are you able to run the software via strace and send us the relevant crash error log via email (forum(at)softmaker.de)? This would be very helpful.

Additionally, what Linux distro are you using?

He mentions FreeBSD, so the question regarding the Linux distro doesn't apply...

But (to the original poster): Why do you use revision 316, when we are already at revision 320?

Just downloaded 320.
Seems to be working without the crash.

will report back if it crashes again with 320.

Thanks.
