Why Not a Full-Screen Option?

Post by cravaus » Sun Nov 25, 2007 4:37 pm

I absolutely live with TextMaker every day. It is my main piece of software on my PDA. My only complaint with this product has been the absence of a full-screen mode. It is possible. I use BananaPC to get the effect but I would rather not have to run an extra piece of software for this option (I only use it for TextMaker). And even with BananaPC I still have the lower edit bar visible. I would like to have the full space for reading and writing. Adobe reader and Opera make the option available with a tap and hold dropdown menue. The screen is so small in the first place, dumping scroll and edit bars would be nice when just typing away with a BT Keyboard. So, in the future if you could do this also I will be very happy.

We already have a full screen mode for the desktop Windows version of TextMaker 2008. Maybe we can port this feature to the Pocket PC version of TextMaker 2008, too.

As an aside, the scrollbars can already be switched on and off through Extras/Preferences.
