Weird italic font display at different zooms

Post by peejay » Wed Oct 31, 2007 1:59 pm

I finally got around to installing italic Truetype font files, and have discovered that Textmaker shows some of them incorrectly and differently for different zoom levels. I've only noticed this with one font (Bookman Old Style), but haven't exhaustively tested.

For example, at 150% zoom, italic text looks too big and is placed as if subscript. At 250% zoom, it looks too small and is placed as if superscript.

I'll send some screenshots so you can see what I mean.

I'm still using rev 459. As you'll see from the screenshots, I'm running using true vga.

Please send the screenshots to forum(at)softmaker.de and refer to this thread via a link. Additionally, please attach the font file, too, so we can try to reproduce this issue.

Screenshots already sent, now sending the font files.

I did a quick extra check, and didn't get the issue with Times or Arial.
