Incorrectly Rus letters in .RTF (but it is normal - in .DOC)

Postby f2065 » Wed Sep 26, 2007 12:21 pm

I create a file in Word 2003. I keep it in DOC and in RTF.
RTF not correctly opens in TextMaker (rev.468) on PPC - all Russian letters do not show.
However, the same RTF-file in Pocket Word opens correctly.
DOC the file correctly opens both in TextMaker and in Word.

Tried to allocate the text and to change a font is gives nothing.
Fonts time*.ttf and aria*.ttf in \windows \fonts has added - as a result DOC-files with fonts Arial and Times New Roman steel reading correctly.
But RTF-files are not read.

The file kept as RTF in TextMaker - is read normally.
I have looked it dump (plaintext) - it keeps russian letters as unicode (the test = \u1090? \u1077? \u1089? \u1090?), and Word2003 - russian letters keeps as ANSI (the test = \'f2 \'e5 \'f1 \'f2).

What to do?
It is possible to specify somehow TextMaker the coding by default at reading RTF?
Now obviously it for russian letters at the ANSI-coding uses latin fonts...

Please send us both files (RTF and DOC) to forum(at)softmaker.de and refer to this thread via a link. We will take a look at this issue.
