Textmaker and Beagle Desktop Search

Post by James Wilson » Thu Jul 27, 2006 1:46 pm

Like many others, I'm looking forward to the release of TextMaker 2006 Beta for Linux.

I'd like to be able to index .tmd files with the Beagle Desktop Search tool (see http://beagle-project.org/Main_Page). If it's possible to convert a .tmd file to plain text via the command line, then it will require only a few lines of xml to allow Beagle to index .tmd files (see some example external filters at http://beagle-project.org/ExternalFiltersRepository).
So I guess my question is (a) is it currently possible to convert a .tmd to text via the command line? and if not, (b) could I request this feature be added?

No.

I just added it to the feature request list and forwarded it to the developers.
