Change name that shows up on comments?

I'm planning on doing some collaborative writing with someone but I want to also stay anonymous. The big issue is that whenever I add a comment to something it shows my initials above it in TextMaker and it shows my full name on other programs. Is there any way to change what name the program is registered under?
