The Icon used for Documents in Nautilus

Post by robertdaleweir » Fri May 05, 2017 2:51 am

Hi
I am a first time poster in this forum. I am using Gnome and Fedora 24. I have been using LibreOffice for sometime and I thought I would give FreeOffice (Textmaker) a look, so I installed FreeOffice. It installed fine. I opened one 'document' with TextMaker and now it shows all of my ' '*.doc ' with a 'FreeOffice' icon, instead of the previous 'LibreOffice' icon. I went into Nautilus and using Properties I changed one document to open, by default, by LibreOffice. It now opens all *.doc files with LibreOffice but they are all shown with the FreeOffice (TextMaker) Icon.
Question: How can I have it go back to the LibreOffice Writer Icon (when I switch Default Application) without having to uninstall FreeOffice?

This issue has been solved (ticket 34074) and should not occur anymore after the next service pack.
