Postby Vladimir » Sun Jul 31, 2016 5:09 pm

FreeOffice 2016 currently does not has an option to let user choose DirectWrite for antialiased glyph rendering. Is it possible to get sopport for DirectWrite?

Are you asking because DirectWrite uses different antialiasing, or for the support of complex scripts such as Hindi or Thai?

Sure, DW really has different antialiasing effects than ClearType, especially for East Asian fonts, also produce good effects even if you are using unhinted TTF font.
