Security Advice Error while saving files in Google Drive

I installed the product successfully to my one PC.
When I tried to install the program to my 2nd PC (HP Pavillion g7, Win 8.1.), the installation stopped with the info "error in trying to create the directory Google drive\Documents.

Can you advise where I made a mistake.

I moved your post because it has nothing todo with the initial Google Drive saving problems.

Do you really have your user profile folder (/Documents) stored in Google Drive and not on the local hard disc?

Hello
In my PC the physical directory chain is "C:\Users\Antti\Google Drive\Documents" - (Antti is me).
\Documents is physically in the hard disk, but simultaneously synched in Google Drive.
I have exactly similar directory chain in my 1st PC (Acer, Windows 8.1.), where I could install FreeOffice 2016 without problems yesterday.

Does the other PC (where it worked with the same sync settings) also run with Win 8.1?

In order to fix the problem we need the logfiles which the setup should have created. You will find these files the following way:
1. Please invoke Start=>Run
2. Enter %temp%
3. Now the temp folder of your Windows installation should open
4. There are 2 files in it: "smo16msi.log" and "smo16bs.log"

Please attache them here or send us these files via e-Mail to forum(at)softmaker.de.

Afterwards please try to install FreeOffice again with disabled Google Drive sync. Dos that help?
