Slow performance when displaying conditional formatting

Post by gjsa73 » Fri Jan 06, 2017 1:21 am

Have a workbook where one sheet contains conditional formatting in the cell range G2:U99.

When any of these cells are present in the current window, all performance has a lag - not only scrolling, but also selecting menu functions.

As soon as I move the display off the cells where conditional formatting applies, performance returns to normal.

I realise that conditional formatting places a burden on the system, but perhaps the efficiency could be improved. If the same worksheet is opened in LibreOffice on my PC, there is no lag. I have a Skylake Core i5.

However, I will continue to use PlanMaker despite this because LibreOffice corrupts conditioning formatting rules!
