How to insert a text file

Post by Cecilieaux » Tue Jan 02, 2018 4:39 pm

Suppose you have Chapter1.doc and Chapter2.doc. You open Book.doc and you want to insert Chapter1.doc into it. How do you do that?

I may be a real newbie with Textmaker, but I have used wordprocessors in CP/M, DOS, Windows and Linux and I can't find a simple way to insert a file inside another. Every wordprocessor known to man and beast (WordStar, WordPerfect, Word, Writer, etc.) has this function.

Try Insert=>Document to insert files. The command is located under "Insert" on both the traditional and ribbon interfaces.
