Shortcut keys

Post by kgha » Wed Nov 25, 2015 4:36 pm

Assigning shortcut keys does not work as smoothly as in SoftMaker Linux 2012:
Writing in Swedish I need a shortcut for Swedish quotation marks, both ”double” and ’single’. In SM2012 I solved this by creating the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+2 for the double, Ctrl+' for the single.
In SM2016 Beta, Ctrl+Shift+2 gives me two quotation marks at one keystroke. Alt+Shift+2 works, but that's a clumsier combination. Ctrl+' cannot be assigned at all, nor can I create shortcuts such as Ctrl+ä for Danish/Norwegian æ. It is as if SM does not recognize the localized keys on my Swedish keyboard.

Oh, and it was a bit odd that common key combinations such as Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V didn't work as expected. This, however, I could fix trough Tools > Customize > Keyboard Mappings > Edit

I can reproduce that issue and will inform the developers. Thank you!

The issue has been solved and should no longer occur in the final version.
