Does not startup

Post by rokebymark » Tue Oct 27, 2015 6:56 pm

/usr/share/office2016/textmaker: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

this is on a pretty standard ubuntu 14.04 LTS install with the cinnamon desktop
the location of is clearly not found by software

I did however find an easy fix, which is
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/mesa/ /usr/lib/

Did you try to start TextMaker via command line, from the start menu or via a click on the executable file in the installation folder?
