multiple actions from an IF statement

Postby Princy557 » Wed Feb 01, 2017 3:58 pm

HI

Is it possible to do multiple changes when an IF statement is true. If so, can someone give me and example.
sample below:

A B C D E F G
1 Date, ref1, ref2, price, p&P, date due, date arrived
2 01/01/2017 abc wxy £2.33 £1.89 03/01/2017 cancelled

If the word cancelled is entered into G2 I want D2 and E2 to be zeroed. £0.00

I just can't seem to fathom this out.

Help please.
Regards

I asked the developers and report here as soon as I have more information.

#1: The IF function can't change the content of other cells, and a cell can't have a number and a formula attached, only one of them.

#2: You can enter 'if (G2="cancelled"; 0; H2)' in D2 where H2 contains the £2.33. Vice versa for E2.
