Hi,
I drafted a fairly complex text yesterday. I did not save it, but left TextMaker open overnight. This morning I see my system crashed. I went back to TextMaker, and while it tried to recover a different document that was already saved on my system, I did not get offered the chance to recover the text I had written, but never saved.
Is this normal behavior, and if so maybe the program should be tweaked to also make recovery files of documents not yet saved.
PS Is there a folder I can go to to try to open recovery files directly?
Thanks,
Grant
Should Recovery work on files not yet saved once?

Please make sure that autosave is active in TextMaker. It should also save your work of unsaved files into the temp folder and offer to restore it after a system crash. But please also check that you have no additional optimization programs running, which clear the temp folder from time to time (e.g. automatically at every new boot of the PC).
