Finnish translation

Postby yka » Wed Apr 22, 2015 7:19 pm

The translation generally is very well done.
Some comments still:
In File-Acquire the translation is "Hanki" which is an imperative form of werb "hankkia". The English word "acquire" has a very much broader meaning than "hankkia" in Finnish which normally has meaning "buy" or "pay something to get something". Better translation could be "Hae" from the Finnish word "hakea". Even this word has a quite large area of meanings but does not include any thoughts of paying something.
If you correct the translation you should also change the translation of "Search" in Edit-Search to "Etsi" which is the imperative form of the word "etsiä".
Now there is "Haku" which is a substantive meaning "searching".
The same change should be made in "Search again", in Finnish "Etsi uudelleen". This is because there could be a misunderstanding if the same word is used with different meanings.
In TextMaker the words in "View-Sidebar" has the translation "Sivupalkki" which is totally right but in Planmaker this is not translated. There should also be "Sivupalkki" instead of "sidebar". Perhaps it is a too long expression to say "Pivot-taulukon sivupalkki", it is quite enough to use the word "Sivupalkki" alone.
There is also a binocular icon in the upper bar of the program. The translation is there either "Hae" or "Etsi". "Etsi" is a better translation.
